Yesterday I had a to-do list. I had hours of time to annihilate said list. Then James called. We ventured out in search of something…anything…to photograph. It was nice out and we had the whole day to kill. We found a nature preserve in RI that was probably the most serene place I’ve been in a long time. The sun was about 2 hours from setting and the golden light was just there for the playing. It was one of those photo outings that recharge you for the whole week and remind you why you love fitting the world into little frames so much.

    Sheep!

    Posted in: Animals/Nature

A few photos from New York Sheep and Wool this past weekend. (For those coming here from points other than my knitting blog, I am a fiber arts fanatic.) There were oodles of sheep, alpaca, goats and llamas and I happily snapped away on day two in an effort to prevent any further purchases of what was recently shorn from their bodies. It mostly worked.
