About Me

I am 28, a mother of two and hopelessly, obsessively in love with photography. Aside from sorting life out through a lens, I love reading, taking my hula-hoops for a spin, knitting and spending time with my family and friends. I am an unapologetic dreamer, slightly sarcastic and incredibly thankful for all that I have.

What I Shoot:

People! My passion is portraiture, both candid and posed. Through my business Altared Visions I photograph weddings and families with my partner James Barron, we have a great time. Sometimes I can’t believe I get to do what I love for a living. When I’m doing personal work it’s usually conceptual or environmental portraiture…I don’t do this nearly enough!

James and I founded ALTARED VISIONS in 2010 after shooting our first wedding together. We want to shake up wedding photography with our passion for story telling, fashion, glamor and most importantly, a little humor. Booking a shoot with me is simple! Just fill out one of the contact forms, or email lucidlightphotoATgmailDOTcom and we’ll chat about your project or event.

TFCD or TFP: I do accept time-for work when my schedule allows and the concept interests me. Simply fill out the contact form below and we will talk about your ideas. This is only for conceptual/model work.
